本作は“プールの底”から始まる青春群像劇。高校2年の夏休み、體育教師の山本から特別補(bǔ)習(xí)としてプール掃除を指示されたココロとミクは、隣の野球部グラウンドから飛んできた砂を掃き始める。続いて同級生で水泳部のチヅル、水泳部を引退した3年の先輩ユイも掃除に合流。やがて會(huì)話の中で彼女たちの悩みがあふれ出し、それぞれの思いが交差していく。
